Coop de Ville

Had the most incredible service I think I’ve ever experienced. Craig, our server, truly made our collective nights and left an impression that will stay with us for a long time. So kind and generous of spirit, he took the time to not only give us our food and drinks rapidly, but also make us feel so welcome and appreciated. My fiance says the chicken wings are the best on the island. I don’t eat chicken but her taste is impeccable.

Best wings around, year after year! I love the Cajun wet, but the dry are pretty great too if you dont like messy wings.

Always good. Tuesday 25 lobster special can't be beat. Ask for waiter Brandon!

The staff is amazing, the food is excellent and the owner Petey is more then accommodating! All on the water!! You have to make this as a stop during your visit to MV. One visit and you will be sold.

Best spot on the island! We have been coming to the vineyard for many years, and no place will ever make you feel more at home than Petey and his staff at the Coop. The food is wonderful pub grub, we especially love the wings, lobsterfest, oysters, and scallop roll. My kids love the fish and chips. The place itself reminds me of a little hole in the wall in key west, unlimited charm, and good banter from Brendan. We can’t wait to come back.

One of our favorite stops on Martha’s Vineyard! We weren’t planning on sitting down, but after the owner greeted us and told us about their BBQ Wednesdays, we decided to grab a seat—and we’re so glad we did. We had a beer, the basket of fries, and the coconut shrimp... which my girlfriend said was the best she’s ever had. She swore she can never eat coconut shrimp again unless it’s from Coop de Ville. Our server, who was originally from Jamaica, was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole vibe was just unmatched—great reggae music, amazing views of the Oak Bluffs harbor, and a laid-back energy that made us want to stay for hours. The owner mentioned he’s been running the place for 30 years, and you can feel the love and history in every corner. We’ll be back every year we visit the island. Absolutely recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near Oak Bluffs.

5/5 for what it is: a dive bar on the dock. We went to the Shuck Shack. No liquor, beer and wine only. Good draft and beer bottle/can list. Wings were VERY crispy and the sauce was good - we ordered medium but could have gotten hot. Half order was good for a quick lunch bite. Also ordered the beer battered shrimp plate, not sure they were beer battered but they were very fresh and delicious. Nice fries, okay slaw. Pre-made cocktail sauce and no tarter sauce. Not sure what was up with that.

We really enjoyed our lobster at Coop de Ville!! The beers were also on point :)
